The new documentary The Christ Files, based on the Rev Dr John Dickson’s book of the same name will premiere on the Seven Network at midday on Good Friday.
Seven Network Sydney Program Manager, Angus Ross says he is proud to be airing the Anglican Media Sydney co-production.
“The Christ Files is an exciting departure from previous Good Friday programming,” Mr Ross says.
“It’s a captivating documentary, filmed across seven countries, that strips away any sensationalism or propaganda by sticking to historical facts about the story of Jesus,” he says.
Dr Dickson is equally excited to have his book turned into a documentary.
“It’s such a privilege. I’m still pinching myself,” Dr Dickson says.
“Lord willing, this will offer an important alternative to the typical historical documentary on Jesus. I reckon the mainstream Jesus is the most radical of all.”
